2 weeks notice- Movie review part 2

Saw 2weeks notice, with Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant(I'm not a fan of his, but he did good in this movie), it's a good feeling kind of movie, even if you don't like the actors. At times, I can relate to Sandra's character. I'm picky, and too hard on myself- an achiever, an optimistic, and I'll tell you like it is. Confidence is sexy, and maybe that's why I thought Sandra looked beautiful here, compared to the other girl in the movie. You'll definitely get a laugh, if you don't, something is wrong with you. =)
The other characters play a vital role as well, and with out them, I don't think this movie would've made it to my approval list. The costumes were hilarious, and the bridge scene as well. Overall, money can buy you a lot, but it doesn't buy you the happiness that you are looking for or that missing piece you've been searching for

Finally saw what Norah Jones looked like, she was singing and playing the piano in the movie, although I thought she had a nice voice, she was a sophisticated lady- I still like Sarah Brightman's collection more.

Quick tour of LA

Haven't been to the gym in a few days, such a slacker. Just dodging from this one guy(the flex machine guy from my past entries) haha, hopefully I won't see him today.

On Sun, did laundry, shopping, cooked, and clean, had dinner with my friend, A.

On Sat, chilled in LA with cousin, H@ the Promenade. Walked through Rodeo Drive in B Hills. Took some pictures of the famous street and architect. There's a lot to do and see in LA, you need to plan your day around traffic. Very time consuming. Dinner@Thai restaurant in Westwood village. Cruised thru Sunset Blvd(Hollywood) bars/clubs, saw Maid in Manhattan,(Norah Jones soundtrack) it's a comedy and a love story, but I thought Pretty Woman was better. There's other places that we wanted to visit, but didn't have a a lot of time, and b/c of the rain. Farmers market, also known as the Grove now, they added more shops, and went under massive construction in the past few years. I like getting my fresh squeezed orange juice, and barbecue beef there.

the Spa

But I've managed to balance everything out. Emails, read the news, and work. lol. I can't wait to get home so I can soak myself in the spa. I have been to Hong Kong, but at a very young age, don't remember much, but I've heard so many good stories when my friends come back. There's a hotel called HK's InterContinental- they have 24hr butlers, it's ritzy and classy. Reminds me of when I stayed at this hotel in Maui: www.grandwailearesort.com. Be prepared if you want to spend a lot of money, maybe it's worth it, 1000k/night. You can say I was sorta broke afterwards. It's definitely one of the nicest place to have a wedding. Whenever that is. ;) Some ideas to relax in the spa or bathtub-if you want to try this at home.

Add 3 drops each of peppermint, rosemary, eucalyptus and lavender essential oils to the tubful of warm water.

Make sure you relax for 15minutes, sip some hot tea or a cup of mint tea, breathe deeply. This is suggested in the mornings, but it helps me relax after a hard day at work, and a massage would be nice, but no takers hahah. It will calm your state of mind, trust me. ;) Happy relaxing!
