the Spa
But I've managed to balance everything out. Emails, read the news, and work. lol. I can't wait to get home so I can soak myself in the spa. I have been to Hong Kong, but at a very young age, don't remember much, but I've heard so many good stories when my friends come back. There's a hotel called HK's InterContinental- they have 24hr butlers, it's ritzy and classy. Reminds me of when I stayed at this hotel in Maui: www.grandwailearesort.com. Be prepared if you want to spend a lot of money, maybe it's worth it, 1000k/night. You can say I was sorta broke afterwards. It's definitely one of the nicest place to have a wedding. Whenever that is. ;) Some ideas to relax in the spa or bathtub-if you want to try this at home.

Add 3 drops each of peppermint, rosemary, eucalyptus and lavender essential oils to the tubful of warm water.

Make sure you relax for 15minutes, sip some hot tea or a cup of mint tea, breathe deeply. This is suggested in the mornings, but it helps me relax after a hard day at work, and a massage would be nice, but no takers hahah. It will calm your state of mind, trust me. ;) Happy relaxing!

candles.. you must also have candles-- thats my relaxer-- either floating candles in a bowl or something or regular candles. last summer i was staying a lot at my friends apartment so i busted out a floating candle centerpiece and a couple other ones- and i believe the exact phrase when they returned was..."uhhh..why is it so romantic in here?" actually, it wasn't really romantic at all- but we're all guys- BUT none of them complained cuz they knew it looked tite!

That's right, candles, we must not forget those, makes it romantic, but I figured if I'm soaking in my tub, why get in the 'mood.' hahah. Guys and candles? That's interesting to see. lol. I like the vanilla scent candles.

i dont really think of candles as a feminine item- i think most of the time tho its females that buy them and set the atmosphere with them- guys don't like to take the time out to do it even tho i bet they like it. Candles for me are not just romantic- a lot of times they can be really meditative and peaceful.

You've never been to HK J? Man, it's a great place to visit. I've only been once and I stayed for 3 weeks. But it wasn't the Intercontinental. I had a good time and met my friends and relatives who were there. Some relatives I met for the first time! Do you have relatives there? If you do, you should go since you'll have free room and board =)

Yes, yes...hot baths are the best!! I love those aromatherapy scents. When I get massages, they use those on my back and awww...it feels so nice and relaxing. I even have the lavendar linen sprays for better sleep! =) And I have candles all over the house...it makes you relax.
